As you move through the exhibit, consider each costume and the questions listed below:

1.  What is the first thing you noticed about the costume?  Why do you think you noticed that first?

2.  Is the costume appealing and/or attractive?  Elaborate.

3. Does the costume suggest a certain historical period?  If so, what period?

4. How does the costume indicate what genre the film may represent?  What is the genre?

5. What does the costume suggest/imply about the character’s background?

6.  How might costume changes indicate the development of the character?

7. What do costumes indicate about the way characters feel about themselves?

8. What impression do characters want to make on others through their costumes?
