Semblen collects the 2026 Senate and House campaign ads from the public ad archives, Meta and campaign YouTube channels, and marks the exact words where a persuasion technique is at work (loaded language, name calling, appeal to fear, glittering generalities and others), with a one-line explanation of each. It shows every side of each race and who paid:
– A daily challenge for Media Literacy Week (Oct 26-30): two real ads a day, one from each side, built around the same technique. Students guess, then compare with the analysis. https://semblen.com/challenge
– A free 45-minute lesson where students check the machine’s work and disagree with it, with reasons: https://semblen.com/classroom
It’s a model and it makes mistakes, which the lesson leans into. Everything is free, with no sign-up and no student data
