For my part, I did a compare and contrast activity using Clint Eastwood two films &#8220;Flags of Our Fathers,&#8221; and &#8220;Letters from Iwo Jima.&#8221; Later, I conducted a deeper look into POV via films for elementary, middle and high school students.<\/p>\n<p>16\u00a0 This afternoon, I conducted a workshop with parents and young people at the downtown branch of the Richland County Public Library, on &#8220;How Movies Are Made: A Behind-the-Scenes Workshop.&#8221; It was fun. I talked about the various stages of film production, and some of the techniques film-makers use. Then participants read a passage from a novel and created their own storyboards.
