This is the setup\u00a0for the scene students will be listening to initially, and then\u00a0viewing.<\/p>\n<p>Ask them to close their eyes and listen. After listening,\u00a0they will make a list of everything they hear in this scene.<\/p>\n<p>The list should include things like:<br \/>\n-scratching branches from a tree<br \/>\n-wind<br \/>\n-crow or other bird call<br \/>\n-Jem nervously calling out for his father<br \/>\n-scary or dramatic music (drums, piano with strings)<br \/>\n-creaking chairs<br \/>\n-squeaky sound<\/p>\n<p>After students share the list of what they\u2019ve heard, ask them to imagine\u00a0what might be happening visually on the screen.
