23 I am pleased that I have been named a
\nfinalist in the Cable TV\/PTA’s national media literacy award<\/a>.<\/p>\n

13-16\u00a0\u00a0 All this week, I have been conducting workshops for K-12 educators
\nat South Carolina ETV (PBS). Their Teacher Tech Days allows teachers to take
\na variety of workshops related to media and technology. My workshops are
\ndesigned to introduce media literacy; show its place in state standards;
\noffer teachers simple methods of integrating it into instruction.<\/p>\n
