\nThis page is for teachers who may already use documentaries in instruction,\u00a0or those who wish to begin using them in the classroom. Like all media,\u00a0documentary producers have a point-of-view and it is up to the audience\u00a0(our students) to be able to decipher it, deconstruct it and understand all of the\u00a0techniques used which make docs believable.<\/p>\n

Using docs in instruction can get your students thinking critically and help\u00a0them better understand both “media literacy<\/a>” and “the language of film.<\/a>”<\/p>\n
