We continue to track how Trump and Harris, the two major presidential candidates, are represented in magazine covers
The State newspaper (Columbia SC) and the Jewish Telegraphic Agency both are reporting on attempts to restrict middle school access to our book.
August
I talked about our book during an appearance at The Otto Bookstore in Williamsport, PA (10th)
July
I presented our book to educators at the professional development event, sponsored by the SC Council on The Holocaust (11th)
I was interviewed by OHM radio (Charleston SC) about our Holocaust book.
June
On the 18th I gave a talk at the monthly meeting of Readers & Writers, meeting in Pontiac SC
On the 20th, I spoke to students gathered for the 2nd Annual Anne Frank Youth Conference, meeting at the Russell House, University of SC, Columbia
On the 26th, I spoke to patrons at the downtown branch of the Richland Library during their Authors Showcase
Also on the 26th, I distributed copies of our book, and spoke to educators gathered at the SC Council on the Holocaust’s Summer Teacher Institute, meeting at SCASA, Columbia
May
We revised this column: How To Watch A Presidential Debate.
I spoke to students about our graphic novel at White Knoll MS (West Columbia) and York Intermediate School (York SC).
We were honored to speak at Shaw Air Base during their Yom Hashoah event on May 6 where we presented a copy of our book to the Army’s commanding general.
I was the keynote speaker on Yom HaShoah at the Savannah (GA) Education Association’s annual event.
April
I spoke to the 8th grade classes, who are studying the Holocaust, at Whale Branch MS in Seabrook SC. The media department of the Beaufort County School District produced this video short of my visit and talk.

5-7 I presented on media literacy and distributed copies of our book “We Survived The Holocaust” in the exhibit hall of the annual SCASL, school librarian’s conference, held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, Columbia SC

2-4 I attended, and presented at the SC Council of Teachers of English (SCCTE) annual conference on Kiawah Island, SC.
Our book, “We Survived The Holocaust”, was published in Spanish.
