WEDNESDAY JUNE 6, 2007

This was the busiest of days. After a morning breakfast, I was off to three
Congressional visits:  first at the office of Congressman Jim Clyburn; then
to a brief meeting and photo op with Senator Jim DeMint; and lastly to
the Hill office of Senator Lindsay Graham. Then back to the Cable In The
Classroom offices for lunch and a podcast interview.  Then, back to the
hotel to get ready to get on a bus for the Library of Congress, where
there was rehearsal for the Awards Gala that night. There was a large
reception from 5:30pm until 6:30pm when the awards event started. Around
7:45pm the event ended and we were all ushered into an adjoining area
for official photos with dignitaries.  Shortly after 8pm, we arrived in
the area for a larger reception and dinner.
