Bulletin Boards from Georgetown HS

"This bulletin board was inspired by the video, "Is Seeing Believing?" and its poster,
which became the centerpiece. It is the perfect illustration for the concept,
"All media are constructed." Pictures placed around the board have all been manipulated
in some way, and I got most of them from the Media Literacy Clearinghouse web site;
the shark attacking the helicopter, Jennifer Aniston's altered magazine cover and accompanying article,
a doctored photo of Lenin and the original of it, an ad featuring Michelle Pfeiffer, the Nation magazine
cover with presidents in jail suits, and a magazine illustration of a woman's face with measurement lines
superimposed on top to show perfect proportions.

The most eye-catching image on the whole bulletin board is the one on the poster of the old/young woman.
The girls here have all stopped to study that one."
