I had a good time Saturday February 7, 2009 presenting at the Georgia Council of Teachers of English
annual meeting at the Jekyll Island Conference Center.

My workshop was an introduction to media literacy as one of the 21C skills all students need.

A new addition to the Georgia ELA standards is "viewing."

Part of the presentation involved a brief look at the "language of film."

Here teachers, working in groups, storyboard a scene from a book, from different
characters points-of-view.  (Photos by Frank W. Baker)
